How to send a notice
If you believe material available on this site infringes your rights, send a notice through one of the channels listed on the About page and include the items below. Put “Copyright notice” in the subject or first line.
- Your full name and a contact method you authorize us to use for a reply.
- The work or right allegedly infringed and proof or an explanation of your ownership or authority to act.
- The exact page address and a description of the material in question.
- A good-faith statement that the use was not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, where the DMCA applies, that you are authorized to act for the owner under penalty of perjury.

Review, removal and counter-notices
After receiving a sufficiently complete notice, we may review the request, ask for more information, remove or disable access to the material and keep a record of the request. Removal is not a court decision that an infringement occurred.
If you believe your material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice with your name and contact details, the material and its former address, a good-faith explanation of the mistake and your signature. We will review it and, when appropriate, share the information as applicable law requires.
Repeat infringement and abuse
We may block access, refuse new requests or take other steps against visitors who repeatedly infringe rights or misuse the tools.
