The service
The site provides a skin gallery, 3D previews, a pixel editor, skin upload and preview, public Minecraft Java username lookup and an AI creation tool. Features may change, pause or be removed, including when an outside provider is unavailable.
Permitted use
You may download and use available skins for personal use in your own game. Unless you first receive written permission or the law allows the use, do not copy the site or its original content in bulk, present it as your own, or use gallery skins for sale or commercial distribution.
Content obtained from players or other third parties remains subject to the relevant owners' rights and is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
Your responsibilities
By using any tool, you confirm that you have the right to use the text, photos, names and images you submit. You must not:
- Submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringing content.
- Use another person's photo or identity without authorization, including to impersonate them.
- Bypass limits, exploit vulnerabilities, overload the infrastructure or automate requests abusively.
- Remove rights notices or attempt to reach non-public systems or credentials.
AI-generated content
AI results can vary, contain flaws, differ from a photo or prompt and resemble other people's creations. We do not guarantee likeness, quality, exclusivity, fitness for a particular purpose or that an output is free of third-party rights.
Review a result before publishing it or using it outside the game and confirm that you have the rights you need. You are responsible for how you use skins you generate, edit or download.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text, code and original creations are protected by applicable law and belong to the site or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of the site's brand or content to you; they only grant the limited personal use described above.
Fan project and third-party marks
Cool Minecraft Skins is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft and related marks belong to their respective owners.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or game edition, or that a generated skin will be accepted by a third-party platform.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the site, outside services or downloaded files. Nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Suspension and changes
We may limit access to a feature in response to abuse, a security risk, a legal requirement or a breach of these terms. We may also update this text; the current version will remain on this page with its update date.
